What is Curriculum for Life?
This website provides an advice service to help young people answer questions about navigating adult life. Young people have created it with Greater Manchester Combined Authority. It is linked to the Greater Manchester Apprenticeship and Careers Service (GMACS).

How do we collect your data?
1. Data provided by individuals for content creation purposes
We do not collect any data submitted by you through the website.
People who are named authors of advice articles and who have provided their image have given their explicit consent for their personal information to be used as agreed on the website. Similarly, anyone who is featured in original visual media, or who has an original quote ascribed to them on the website, has given their explicit consent to this. Any party who has previously consented to their personal information being on the Curriculum for Life website can withdraw this consent at any time, or update their information by emailing us at [email protected]. This will result in the adaptation or full withdrawal of the related content.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is:

2. Data collected through the website

The Curriculum for Life server complies with a number of data security standards.
How long will we keep your data?
Curriculum for Life is designed to be current. For this reason, anyone’s personal information (names and visual media) featured on the website will be removed after a maximum of five years as the content is refreshed. The information that we hold to improve and evaluate our service is held as statistical data. This means that we are not able to identify individual people from this data.
Transferring your data outside of the European Union (EU)
Your data will not be stored outside of the EU.
